I LARP'd today. Three pictures for yoooou! This is my character- the Unseelie Knocker, Caraga. Or, at least it was. She had amnesia, and discovered today that she is actually the reincarnation of another's character's foster mother, and is the Duchess of Waterford (in Ireland.) And is also Seelie, not Unseelie. So yeah, lots happened in-game. It's all very much the drama, so I'll spare you.

Oh gods, I have completely forgotten to do my photos this break. I'm in so much trouble!

Such an eventful week! I feel compelled to document it in at least some point. Where to start? At the beginning of course!

Friday night (last week) I went over to Ian's after FNM and stayed up until three thirty AM playing Left 4 Dead. I woke up again at six fifteen to get up to go to the tournament and Ian and Lauren were still playing. We got up, got ready, and journeyed to Atlanta. We didn't even get lost. Go us.

At the tournament, I did SO well, until I didn't. I won the first round, 2-0, the second round 2-0, the 3rd round 2-0, the 4th round 2-1, and then, as I was sitting in the top chair at the top table, I lost rather unceremoniously. After I lost once, I knew that it was over, as it always seems to go for me. I lost, then I lost, then I lost, then I dropped. Then it became the magic time to find my way to the Joshface, which was going to be a very complicated amalgamation of buses and shuttles and MARTA, and I was scared of it because it was dark, so my very good friend Brandon drove me to a drop-off point. I found out later that he got stuck behind a huge accident on the way back, and everyone who was in our car back at the tournament had to wait an extra four hours for him to get back. I didn't find out until later, so I didn't know to feel bad. Thanks again, Brandon.

I had a lovely time with Josh, Jess, Chris and Marisa at Ritual that night. Met some fun people, and will avoid gushing about any of that sort of thing. We were all a drinky pants, and the next day I spent being a lazy, sick hobo and watching bad movies, looking at houses that don't matter now, and eating soup.

Then I spent time at Nicole's house. We were basically just hobos, and obsessively listened to/ watched Lady Gaga's Bad Romance and other assorted videos. We walked, went to the mall, and were just having a good time. I missed hanging out with her, and the time I got to spend with her reminded me why she's my best friend.

And theeeeeen, I had dinner with Josh, Jess and a new friend. It was tasty. Then drinking, and new chemical experiences were to be had! It was a fantastic time. In fact the effects of such a time lingered into the car ride home. Nicole and I thought her mother had forgotten about us there for a little while. :D

Family thanksgiving was blah. Then spent time over at Ian's. Lots of Left 4 Dead (I have gotten much better at it now, by the way.) Came home a day early so that I could clean and head into the photo studio tomorrow morning. Also because I have my LARP tomorrow. But no laughing at me.

The next few weeks are going to be crazy. I won't have any spare moments, because they will all be spent in the photo lab, or in the sculpture building. I'm very passionate about this project for sculpture, but I don't know if I'll be able to achieve what I want.

I also got the rest of my lantern corps. rings, and fully cleaned my room. I think being busy for the next few weeks will distract from the fact that Josh will be busy packing and moving and will probably not have a super huge amount of time to be throwing my way. But after this next few weeks, everything will be alright. I know it. <3

I wish that when I wake up you're there
To wrap your arms around me for real
And tell me you'll stay by side

Oh, but what is life without complications?

At least I've got chicken (toast).

Went into the sculpture studio today to put the mother mold on my brick rubber molds. The process for the mother mold went something like this:

1. Draw a line down the ridge-line of your rubber mold in sharpie.
2. Drive nails in a line down one side of the drawn sharpie-line.
3. Roll out and build a clay wall, one inch high and half an inch wide to cover the nails.
4. Cut about nine thousand pieces of burlap with children's scissors.
5. Mix plaster.
6. Dip the strips of burlap in the plaster.
7. Apply plaster strips to one side of the clay wall, making sure not to go over the wall.
8. Fill any deeper areas with the now thicker-plaster.
9. Give it like, ten seconds to dry.
10. Pull the clay wall and the nails out. Go ahead and do it together though, because it doesn't matter whether or not there are rouge nails in the clay that is put into a bag to be reused.
11. Paint the plaster that was behind the clay wall with shellac and Vaseline.
12. Repeat steps 6-9.

Hooray! You've now made a rubber mold!

Right around step 3, I was pounding out the clay so I could fold it over the nails, and impaled my hand on a nail someone left in the clay. My appointment for my tetanus shot is tomorrow at 1:30.

Good news, the University has decided to give me an additional 500 in grants next semester, and because they always do it for both semesters of a term, they sent me a check for the fall's portion of it. So, all that not-sleeping and worrying I've been doing about money, and paying for next semester: over with. Awesome! It's such a load off of my mind.

Friday and Saturday morning and afternoon were lovely. Josh came up to see the closing of the into photography show and stayed until the next day. I already miss him. I don't like waking up alone.

Also, I had a potluck monopoly night today. I made the last two packs of my flavored rice and mixed them together. It was tasty. Also, I won at Monopoly. But then again, I always do. Because I'm the Champion.

Had him to myself Friday night/ Saturday morning and afternoon! Bad light is bad. No good for in-focus shots.

I didn't leave the apartment all day, except to take out the trash. Been very lazy. Finished the Sinestro Corps war. It was muchly a good rest from yesterdays busyness.

I worked a 12 hour shift today.

And when I got there this morning, I was written up. Apparently I was supposed to work a 14 hour day, and was late.

This was a picture I took in the gas station next to my house. It was a magical munchie adventure to be had by all.

So, I flat-out missed a day. Didn't post late or anything, just forgot to take a picture. I wanted day 100 to be something properly epic. So, this is me. With a Magic card in my mouth. At FNM. It's been a month since I got to go, but it looks like I'll be able to go every other week now that I have a regular work schedule. Since I'll have to work in the morning, there will be no forays into Atlanta on those Fridays.

I did super poorly tonight, though. Uck. 1-3. No es bueno. I need to ramp it up, remind them who's boss.

I've noticed a tendency to multi-photo post recently. I think I am doing it in this instance because the one I took that I liked was blurry, so I wanted an example of one that was in focus.

A day of much recovery and potluck/ Cranium funtimes. Hooray!

Is blurry. Oh wells.

Good god, what a Halloween I had. Jess and I were nipple tape/ fishnet shirt sisters. We went to a Fetish event held by the Secret Room, and I wore a fishnet shirt and short black buckle skirt that belonged to Josh. I felt more attractive than I have in years, really. But I suppose when you're not really wearing a shirt, people tend to think you're pretty hot.

I had a great time with Josh. I have a new love for the song "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode, and I will be looking out for any photos of me that end up tagged on facebook from that night, because I don't really want Dad to see those.

The picture I took for today is on Olivia's camera. I'll upload it when she does. :D

It was a very eventful, fun day. She and I drove to Atlanta to get her car serviced. They gave us a BMW roadster for a rental car, which was flippin' sweet, and then we drove to Lenox Square Mall and pretended that we were fancy. I tried on these dresses (from my favorite designer, Betsey Johnson):

The second one was the most beautiful thing that I have ever worn. It fit me amazingly. There would be pictures if they allowed photography in that store.

Then we went to Bloomingdales, and I sprayed myself down with some Chanel No. 5, the best perfume ever. Then Sephora, where I applied a full look to myself with the tester makeup, then stole a tester for a glitter eyeliner.

All in, all that was a good day. Also fun was Martinis and Imax and the club afterwards until I got sick because I said I could drink like a man. Me and the trashcan made friends. It was all in good fun, though.
